Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Transporter to safely move patients to beds and to other areas such as surgery, therapy or radiology. The role requires following PPE protocols and Infection Control policies, and maintaining equipment during transport.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient status en route, responding to changes, decontaminating equipment after use, and working with staff in a manner consistent with the hospital's core values.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent or 3 years' experience required
• Basic Life Support Certification

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to inpatient beds or other areas (surgery, therapy, radiology) in a safe and timely manner
• Monitor patient's status during transport and respond to changes in condition
• Decontaminate equipment after each transport per policy
• Interact with coworkers, visitors and staff in line with hospital values

Education
