Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pickup, special requests and needs, and in-between meal food delivery.
• Exhibits a friendly, caring attitude to patients during menu selections, tray delivery, and catering rounds.
• Takes patients' menu selections prior to each meal and complies with dietary restrictions.
• Assembles trays according to menu selections and diet orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Interacts with nursing staff to ensure diet prescriptions are accurate and patient needs are met.
