Methodist Hospital Stone Oak in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Patient Care Technician PRN to support registered nurses and assist with daily patient needs. You will perform vital signs, mobility assistance, and personal care as part of a collaborative nursing team.

The role emphasizes empathy, attention to detail, teamwork, and safe patient handling, with daily rounding and timely response to call lights.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience: None.
• Preferred CNA or EMS training with Texas certifications on hire.
• May include LVN experience within Methodist Healthcare System previously.

Responsabilités

• Assist RN with vital signs, mobility, and personal care.
• Provide hands-on patient care under supervision and document observations.
• Perform hourly rounding and respond to call lights using AIDET.
• Support safe patient environment and use PPE as required.
• Help with activities of daily living and meal assistance.
