Job summary

Vitruvian Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide routine, high-quality patient care under supervision. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, vitals collection, and supporting clinicians during procedures in a multi-age unit.

Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED; nursing assistant experience is preferred. CNA and BLS certifications are preferred or required upon hire, to ensure compliant, safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• One year of nursing assistant or patient care experience preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred or enrolled in accredited nursing program preferred.
• BLS certification required immediately upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine, high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, eating).
• Collect non-invasive specimens and vital signs (excluding IVs).
• Support physicians and nursing staff during procedures when needed.
• Maintain and update patient records and coordinate communication within the unit and across departments.
