Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Round Rock is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide compassionate patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). This role performs patient care tasks within the scope of the position and does not administer medications.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
• Performs patient care activities within the limits of the position.
• Does not administer medications or therapy.
