Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our collaborative nursing team, supporting Registered Nurses with hands-on care, vital signs, mobility, and personal care while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for patients. You will help monitor conditions, carry out care plans, and communicate kindly with patients and families.

No travel required, no prior experience needed. Basic Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality
