Job summary

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN/LPN supervision.

Shifts are 12 hours with rotating schedules and 36 hours per week, including weekends. Preferred CNA; high school diploma or GED. Responsibilities include vital signs, basic care, daily activities, and related clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record vital statistics and other basic health information.
• Administer basic health care and medical treatments; assist with daily living activities.
• Dressing/un-dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, meal prep and dining needs, emotional and spiritual support.
• Clean patient living areas or treatment rooms; prepare and clean medical equipment.
• Perform clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient care; use clear communication.
