Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide nursing assistance and patient care, supporting the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. You will assist with activities of daily living and contribute to a unit-based, self-directed care team.

Required credentials include BLS and a Georgia CNA on the Georgia Registry or CMA/RMA/CCMA/NHA certifications, plus one year of direct patient care experience in CNA, PCT, Military Medic, ED Tech or similar roles.

Qualifications

• One year of patient care experience (CNA, PCT, Military Medic, ED Tech or similar).
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• CNA on Georgia Registry or CMA/RMA/CCMA/NHA certifications are acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assistance and patient care to support comfort, safety and personal needs of patients.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic hygiene.
• Work within a unit-based, self-directed patient care team alongside licensed and non-licensed staff.
