Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the 3ES Medical Surgical Unit in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week with an orientation during the starting week and shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm, every other weekend.

You will enter treatments and charges, assist the care team, help coordinate communication among staff, patients and families, and provide personal care under RN/LPN supervision.

Qualifications

  • High school level knowledge typically expected.
  • CNA with certification or EMT/paramedics training or current nursing program enrollment and clinical rotation.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Enter treatments and charges to update the patient care record.
  • Assist care team in coordinating patient activities and services.
  • Facilitate communication among care team, physicians, patients and families.
  • Provide personal care support under RN/LPN supervision (bathing, grooming, mobility).
  • Assist with vital signs, accu-checks, and basic procedures as directed.
