Job summary

Virtua Health is hiring for a patient care assistant role under RN/LPN supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, reinforce patient education, and support the care team in delivering safe, quality care.

The position requires completion of a PCT/CNA program or RN fundamentals course, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication skills. BLS certification is preferred, with phlebotomy training required for ED positions.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a PCT course or a fundamentals nursing course in an RN program, or CNA training.
• Must have high school diploma or GED and relevant patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and plan of care.
• Take vital signs and perform basic procedures as directed by RN/LPN.
• Communicate changes in patient status to the care team.
