Job summary

Responsibilities

• Renders basic patient care in an assigned unit and assists the professional nurse.
• Takes and records vital signs and observes, reports, and records patient condition.
• Obtains specimens and administers other treatments; operates or assists in operating mechanical devices.
• Meets physical comfort needs of patient; reports emergencies and administers emergency treatment.
