Job summary

Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, part of the HCA Healthcare network, is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for PRN coverage to assist the nursing team and support patient comfort and safety. You will help with daily tasks, assist RNs with care plans, and contribute to a caring environment.

Ideal candidates have Basic Life Support and prefer 6 months of experience in patient care. Alaska Regional offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities within a large healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
• 6 Months Of Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality
