Baptist Health in Prattville seeks a Patient Care Technician (PRN) to join the caregiver team at Prattville Baptist Hospital. The PCT will support RNs and LPNs, assist with routine patient care, vital signs, activities of daily living, and non-complex tasks within scope of practice.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (CNA/HOSA preferred) and at least some patient care experience; BLS is required. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling and exposure to diverse clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of body mechanics and basic safety, principles of physical care and comfort.
• Medical terminology training preferred.
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsabilités

• Assist RNs, LPNs, and physicians in routine patient care tasks.
• Support the patient care team in non-complex aspects of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living, vitals, and other duties as assigned.
