Job summary

Ernest Health, Inc. and Duval Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Jacksonville, FL, are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join a fast-paced inpatient rehabilitation team.

Under RN supervision, you will provide direct bedside care, assist with daily living activities, monitor patients, and support therapy services to help individuals regain independence. Required or preferred CNA certification, CPR, and hospital experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• CNA license preferred but required in the following states: ID, UT, WY, (SC only required if beds are licensed as a skilled nursing unit)
• CPR Certification required
• One (1) year experience in a hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Providing direct bedside care under the supervision of a registered nurse
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility
• Monitor patient status and communicate observations to the clinical team
