Job summary

USPI Surgical Elite Avondale in Avondale, AZ is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our fast-paced ambulatory surgery center team. This full-time role supports patient comfort, safety and care during procedures, delivering compassionate service to patients and families.

You will assist with changing linens, ambulation, transport, and monitoring vital signs. Maintains a clean, orderly care environment and supports examinations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• CNA, MA or other healthcare certification preferred.
• Demonstrates clinical competency.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport.
• Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment. Assists during patient examinations and procedures.
• Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations.
• Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical and/or procedural services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations
