Job summary

Qualifications

• Reading and numerical competency; proficient with technology and computers.
• Previous care giving experience preferred and ability to perform basic care tasks.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers per RQI; ECC courses required; and 'Handle with Care' training within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting physical and psychosocial needs of patients under licensed nurse supervision.
• Perform tasks per competency documentation and provide direct care with limited invasive procedures.
• Support nurses and staff with daily patient care duties.
• Follow unit protocols and report patient welfare to the RN.
