Qualifications

• Current Nurse's Aide Certification (CNA) preferred.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Provide a safe environment for patients in high-stress environments.
• Comfortable working with patients and families during the dying process.
• Able to work with patients of all ages, sexes, religions, or backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with hygiene and meals; ambulate patients according to procedures.
• Distribute patient trays and assist feeding; collect trays after meals.
• Retrieve and deliver supplies, specimens, instruments, test results.
• Provide continuous observation of patients and ensure safety and comfort.
• Respond to patient call lights and relay information to nursing staff.
