Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a Patient Care Nurse Assistant for the Adult Inpatient Post-Surgical Unit, 6 East, at MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick. This role supports post-surgical patients across multiple service lines in a 34-bed unit and collaborates with RNs, LPNs, and health professionals.

Bi-weekly hours total 72, with rotating day/evening/night shifts and weekend/holiday rotation. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, be team-oriented with strong problem-solving

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to work in a team with good judgment, flexibility, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for healthcare provider or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record patient vital signs.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Perform duties as instructed by RN.
