Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System is seeking a part-time, .6 FTE (24 hours/weekend-only) role at Women & Babies Hospital in Lancaster, PA. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and AHA CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Completion of educational requirements (additional formal education/training; maximum supervision for initial competency; yearly competency evaluation and training).
• AHA CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Environment Management: completes cleaning tasks per unit standards and maintains equipment inventory.
• Supply Management/Clerical: orders and stocks supplies; demonstrates cost awareness and uses unit-specific computer systems.
• Patient Care/Safety: documents accurately, assists with hygiene and daily living activities, ensures safety and comfort of patients, and reports changes to RN.
• Code of Conduct/Professionalism: completes assignments, responds to requests, respects patient rights and confidentiality, communicates clearly, and prioritizes effectively.
• Clinical Skills: maintains required clinical skills and performs unit-specific tasks, including basic lab-related duties as directed.
• SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: participates in on-call responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
