Visiting Angels Kansas City, KS is seeking Patient Care Assistants to provide compassionate in-home support to seniors across the Kansas City Metro area including Overland Park. You will serve as a trusted companion, helping with daily activities and mobility, while upholding safety and dignity.

• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (appointments, walks)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with clients when able
• Shop for clients or accompany them shopping
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies
