Job summary

Visiting Angels Boise is seeking a heartfelt Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support local seniors in Boise, Caldwell, and surrounding areas. You will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, mobility support, and transportation assistance, helping families stay independent at home.

We offer flexible shifts, weekly pay, a $500 sign-on bonus, and opportunities for training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care to grow your skills and make a real difference in the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Passion to serve others and provide compassionate care.
• Ability to follow safety and health guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Be a kind, supportive companion.
• Report incidents and emergencies promptly.
