Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support daily living activities and basic nursing care under RN supervision in Bristol, PA. This per diem position offers opportunities to work with a team known for compassionate care.

Required qualifications include phlebotomy and EKG certifications (preferred), BLS within 30 days, knowledge of medical terminology, and six months of relevant acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
