Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. The role includes implementing components of the care plan to address physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, ensuring comfort, safety, and emergency responsiveness.

The candidate will measure vital signs, perform ECGs, monitor equipment, and report changes in patient condition.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant program or completion of at least one clinical rotation in an accredited Nursing program Preferred.
• Basic Life Support Required.
• Certified Medical Assistant Preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under guidance of the Registered Nurse.
• Implements plan of care addressing physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs.
• Delivers comfort, safety and emergency measures; assists with activities of daily living.
