Job summary

Valley Baptist Health System is seeking a dedicated Nursing Aide to support patient care. You will assist with basic and intermediate nursing tasks under a licensed nurse’s supervision, ensuring comfort and safety for patients in general units.

The role covers adult patients and specific units as needed. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/BLS certification, and up to 1 year of hospital experience.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent.
• PREFERRED EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent.
• PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year hospital experience
• REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: CPR certification or related credentials.
• BLS: Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic and intermediate nursing care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Care for patients in General Nursing Units aged 18+ with variations by unit.
• Assist in Special Care Areas and Maternal Child Units as applicable.
• Complete competencies within the introductory period and perform related duties as assigned.
