Job summary

THE HOSPITAL AUTHORITY OF MILLER COUNTY is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to assist nursing staff in patient care across designated units. You will support patients with compassionate care and help maintain safety and privacy standards.

Requirements include GA CNA certification, BLS within 30 days of hire, and a high school diploma. Previous experience is preferred; strong communication and basic computer skills are essential in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Active GA CNA Certification required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned areas.
• Communicate with patients and document observations.
• Maintain patient safety and privacy according to policies.
• Attend staff meetings and mandatory in-services.
• Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate.
• Fosters teamwork and assists others.
• Keeps up with ongoing education and competency evaluations.
