Job summary

USA Health in Mobile is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support nurses and care teams across our Gulf Coast campuses. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, monitor condition, and maintain clean patient rooms and equipment between uses.

This role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and a willingness to follow infection control practices. Training is provided; eligibility for benefits begins with a regular position of 20 hours or more per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Reports any changes in patient condition to RN/LPN.
• Maintains clean and neat stocked areas and patient rooms.
• Cleans equipment between each patient use.
• Takes and records vital signs and weight.
• Accesses and maintains electronic and paper medical records.
• Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards.
