Job summary

Home Instead in Largo, FL is seeking a compassionate Care Professional to help a senior client stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Shifts are Mon-Fri from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with other clients and shifts available nearby to fit your schedule.

You will perform personal care, walking support, companionship, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and laundry. Training provided, competitive pay of $15.00 per hour, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Able to pass a Level 2 background check and drug screen.
• Clean driving record, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
• Patient and a clear communicator.

Responsibilities

• Personal care (bathing assistance, dressing, grooming, and activities of daily living).
• Stand-by assistance with walking, mobility, and safety awareness.
• Companionship, conversation, and cognitive games.
• Meal preparation.
• Medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping, including changing bed linens and cleaning the kitchen and bathroom.
• Laundry.
