Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• LSRT license required by the Louisiana LSRT.
• ARRT radiography certification required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• 1 year of experience with radiation therapy equipment (Varian, GE, TOMO).

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy and ensure accurate delivery per treatment plan.
• Monitor patient condition during treatment and report abnormalities to team.
• Assist radiation oncologist with tumor localization and treatment simulations.
• Perform basic dose calculations and document all treatments.
• Maintain equipment readiness and proper stock in treatment rooms to prevent delays.
