Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls is seeking an Occupational Therapist for flexible PRN schedules across our inpatient rehabilitation program. You will deliver direct OT services, assess patient needs, and develop personalized treatment plans to support independence and quality of life.

We value compassionate care, teamwork, and ongoing professional growth. Eligible candidates hold current licensure, CPR, and a degree in OT (Master's preferred or Bachelor’s with experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master's Degree preferred, or Bachelor's Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's Degree preferred
