Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients for ocular abnormalities and refer as needed to ophthalmology or specialists.
• Perform and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing.
• Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans.
• Educate patients regarding eye health, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and clinical staff to coordinate patient care.
• Follow all applicable clinical, regulatory, and patient-safety standards.
