Job summary

Newcomer Funeral Service Group is seeking an on-call Removal Technician in the Dayton area to assist families with dignified removal and transfer of decedents to our facilities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift over 100 pounds with assistance, and a valid driver’s license. On-call hours include evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays, with opportunities for growth in a long‑standing family‑owned funeral service network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three months of similar or related experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift and move objects over 100 pounds with assistance.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Remove and transport decedents from homes, hospitals, and other facilities to the funeral home.
• Handle decedents with care and dignity, following company policies.
• Occasional travel and on-call hours including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
