Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Virginia is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centered therapy in a supportive inpatient setting. You will assess patients, develop individualized care plans, supervise treatment, and document progress while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Active state licensure and CPR are required; a Master’s degree is preferred, with a Bachelor’s plus experience acceptable.

Qualifications

• Active CPR certification required.
• State licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Master's degree preferred, or bachelor's degree with sufficient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients requiring occupational therapy.
• Supervise care and treatments; lead patient assessments and create personalized care plans.
• Build meaningful relationships by understanding patients' physical, mental and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and progress throughout rehabilitation.
