Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Littleton is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver direct, patient-centered care within a supportive team. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy to help patients regain independence after injury or illness.

Requirements include current state licensure or certification, CPR certification, and a preferred Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
