Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Institute of Libertyville is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver direct patient care, develop personalized treatment plans, and advance patient independence within our inpatient rehab setting.

Candidates should hold current state licensure and CPR; a Master’s degree is preferred or a Bachelor’s with experience. We offer day-one benefits, tuition support, and a collaborative team focused on compassionate care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master‘s Degree preferred, or Bachelor‘s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master’s Degree preferred
