Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved curriculum in Occupational Therapy.
• Current, active license as Occupational Therapist.
• Current CPR certification as required for licensure.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Must read, interpret and communicate in English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients per MD orders and payer guidelines.
• Develops treatment plans and delivers therapy for functional outcomes.
• Educates staff and third party payers on benefits and outcomes.
• Completes documentation including evaluations and progress notes.
• Keeps EMR and rehab systems updated with patient data.
• Maintains licensure and complies with regulations.
