Job summary

The Villa at Mountain View, part of Cantex Continuing Care Network, Dallas, TX, is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to support the delivery of Nutrition Services, including meal preparation, tray assembly, and sanitation tasks.

Applicants should have a current Food Handler Certificate, the ability to read, write, and speak English, and prior food service experience is preferred. This role is PRN and involves assisting in patient meal service and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience in food service and using food service equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures sanitation and quality standards are met.
• Washes and sanitizes dishes, pots, and utensils.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment as assigned.
• Prepares dining room tables and patient room trays with proper tableware; serves beverages.
• Prepares and serves nourishment and supplements identified with patient labels.
• Delivers soiled linens to laundry.
• Identifies and corrects safety hazards.
