Job summary

Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters is seeking a Nursing Assistant-like partner to support patient care under the clinical lead. You will assist with intake/discharge, daily living activities, and data collection in a fast-paced pediatric setting.

Role requires CPR certification at hire or within 45 days, with enrollment or certification in nursing-related programs. Prior CHKD experience or nursing extern completion is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the patient intake and discharge processes.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, ambulation, etc.).
• Collects vital signs, intake/output, and growth measurements; transfers data to the clinical lead.
• Performs venipuncture for labs.
• Facilitates throughput within the outpatient medical practice.
• Enters patient screening forms accurately into the EHR.
• Performs general administrative duties (faxing, scanning, filing, copying).
• Delivers developmentally appropriate care to assigned patients.
• Performs non-clinical duties (patient transport, stocking supplies, cleaning equipment).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
