Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct care to skilled nursing facility residents, ensuring safety and comfort within the nursing assistant scope. You will assist with personal hygiene, help meet nutritional needs, monitor resident condition, and report changes to the shift nurse.

You will also maintain a safe, clean environment and participate in teamwork to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry or obtains within 4 months of hire/ transfer date.
• If transitioning from the Nursing Assistant - Student position, must have registration upon hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to skilled nursing facility residents.
• Assist with personal hygiene and meeting nutritional needs; observe and report changes to the shift nurse.
• Maintain a safe, clean, attractive, and comfortable environment; prevent abuse of vulnerable adults.
