Responsibilities

• Deliver and document care according to hospital policies, procedures and philosophies.
• Follow strict aseptic technique at all times and use sterile technique when indicated.
• Observe and report all patient concerns and changes in condition to a nurse immediately.
• Safely transport patients, supplies, and specimens.
• Respect patient privacy rights, values, and provide care accordingly.
• Assist with orientation of new employees.
• Complete all annual competencies.
• Assist with unit cleanliness.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned.
• Comply with Corporate Policies, Procedures and Personnel Employee Handbook.
• Be able to cross-train to other units.
• Demonstrate excellence in customer service skills.
• Foster an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration and participate in unit meetings.
• Participate in quality improvement activities, including serving on quality improvement teams.
