• Provides personal care including bathing, grooming, bed making, feeding and positioning patients.
• Responds promptly to signals and bells to meet patient needs.
• Collects specimens (stool, urine, sputum) and records appropriately.
• Records input/output and vital signs per hospital policy.
• Assists with ambulation and mobility support for patients.
• Maintains a safe and sanitary environment in patient care areas.
• Prepares patients for procedures and examinations and assists with transfers.
