Job summary

Sanford Health, through Marsh Med Ctr Eau Claire, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide patient-centered care and daily living assistance under supervision. You will record vital signs, assist with basic health needs, and support treatment areas while maintaining safety and comfort for patients.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED; CNA certification is preferred. Wisconsin NA Registry eligibility is required unless you are a student nurse with course and clinical hours completed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
• If working in ND or MN and not a CNA, must be NA Registry active within four months from hire date.
• If working in Wisconsin, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with current work eligibility or be a student nurse with basic nursing course and 16 hours of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision.
• Record vital statistics and other basic health information.
• Collect non-invasive specimens from patients as needed.
• Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and dispose of biomedical waste per policy.
• Provide one-on-one care to patients when necessary for safe care.
