Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, MI is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patients with personal care, mobility, and comfort under clinical staff supervision. You will assist with daily activities, observe and report vital signs, and help transport patients across departments.

No prior experience required—Munson Medical Center offers comprehensive, paid orientation and training to help you succeed from day one. A CPR certification is required, and a HS diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR certification must be obtained/maintained at all times.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds may be required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care and comfort tasks.
• Complete personal hygiene and help with mobility.
• Collect specimens and observe vital signs.
• Transport patients between departments and assist with walking/exercise.
