Job summary

A critical illness recovery hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide compassionate care. You will perform essential services for patients, including bathing and hygiene, on a PRN / per diem basis during night shifts. The ideal candidate has a diploma/GED, relevant experience, and a BLS certification. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Must have hospital experience as a nursing assistant or certification in nursing assistance.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, and feeding.
• Participate in hourly rounds to monitor patient needs.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with their movement.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and keep patient's rooms orderly.
• Keep unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
