Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures.
• Observe, collect, and document patient information and report changes to a nurse or physician.
• Provide direct personal care during activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, ambulation).
• Assist in admission, orientation, and discharge processes for patients.
• Support in monitoring vital signs, specimen collection, wound care and other routine treatments.
• Support cleaning, stocking, transportation, and clerical tasks in the unit.
• Reinforce patient education and ensure patient understanding of instructions.
