The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan Ottumwa will provide resident-centered care during the evening shift, assisting with daily living activities, measuring vital signs, and supporting the nursing team under an RN’s supervision.

This full-time role in Ottumwa, IA requires CNA certification, adherence to infection control policies, and a commitment to compassionate, Christian-based service. Eligible candidates should be 16+ with a preference for long-term care experience.

Formación

• CNA certification required by state.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Annual competency testing and 12 hours CE per year.
• Must be able to obtain/endorse if applicable for UAP/driver roles.

Responsabilidades

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, and mobility.
• Record vital signs and report changes to RN.
• Support infection prevention policies and PPE usage.
• Assist with meals, dining, and recreational activities.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes.
