Job summary

Qualifications include a Nurse Assistant program, enrollment in a nursing program with Fundamentals of Nursing, or a related medical program; at least 1 year NA/PCT/PAT experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• CNA preferred; Nurse Assistant program completed.
• Enrolled in a nursing program with Fundamentals of Nursing completed.
• Foreign trained RN relocating to the United States without Michigan RN license.
• Medical Assistant program completed (with or without experience).
• At least 1 year of NA/PCT/PAT or similar experience.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, perform patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs.
• Provide input to RN for planning and implementing patient care.
• Respond to emergencies according to established procedures.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain standards.

Education

Nurse Assistant program

Nursing program (Fundamentals of Nursing completed)

Foreign trained RN relocated to US without MI license

Medical Assistant program

1 year NA/PCT/PAT or similar experience
