Job summary

Sanford Nursing Assistant role provides patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision in a 12-hour day shift setting. The NA supports daily living activities, basic health care, and documentation of vital statistics in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, vital signs, specimen collection, and coordination of care with nursing staff. Wisconsin and North Dakota registry requirements apply as applicable; CNA preferred, high school diploma or GED acceptable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.
• ND registry compliance requirement if applicable; must be registered or eligible.
• WI registry compliance required or student nurse with basic nursing course and 16 hours clinical.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic health care needs and activities of daily living.
• Administer delegated tasks and treatments per supervisor.
• Record vital statistics and health information.
• Collect non-invasive specimens as needed.
• Perform clerical duties related to scheduling and documenting care.
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain equipment and clean facilities.
• Provide one-on-one patient care when necessary.
