Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Ventura County is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Duties include assisting with ADLs, mobility support, companionship, and ensuring a clean, safe home environment.

Requirements include Home Care Aide Registration with California (or ability to obtain), LiveScan, TB testing, and background checks. Competitive pay at $20+ per hour with shift bonuses and flexible schedules available.

Qualifications

• Past caregiving experience preferred (professional or personal).
• Experience with memory care, Parkinson's, cancer care, hospice is a plus.
• Compassion and empathy towards others.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while following instructions accurately.
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Capable of adapting calmly to changing situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support mobility and assist with lifting when required.
• Offer companionship and engage in meaningful interactions.
• Ensure a clean and safe living environment.
