Job summary
Shadelands Post Acute in Walnut Creek, CA seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for the night shift to provide routine daily nursing care per each resident's care plan.
You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, document observations, and ensure resident safety with a compassionate, professional team. This full-time role includes benefits and opportunities for growth.
Shift is 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM and requires excellent communication and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current CNA certification.
- Experience in resident care settings preferred.
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily functions including dental care, bathing, dressing, grooming.
- Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents safely.
- Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed.
- Ensure residents are dry and comfortable by changing gowns and linens as needed.
- Deliver after-meal care and help with food arrangements on trays.
- Routinely check residents and promptly meet personal care needs per their wishes.
- Record data and report changes to the Nurse Supervisor.
