Heartstrings Pet Hospice in California seeks an In-Home Veterinarian to deliver compassionate end-of-life care. You will provide in-home euthanasia, hospice and palliative services, and quality-of-life consultations, while supporting families with empathy and guidance in a private, family-owned practice.

This role offers unhurried appointments, flexible scheduling, and mentorship from a leadership team that values well-being and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment.
• Weekend availability on a rotational basis.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home euthanasia and hospice/palliative care.
• Conduct quality-of-life consultations with pet families.
• Offer compassionate family support and education.
• Deliver meaningful medicine with unhurried appointments.
